We are delighted to offer the Dual Enrollment Excellence Scholarship to qualifying *BPC Dual Enrollment Students! We believe in rewarding students who have earned early academic achievements and have been exceptional through their time in our Dual Enrollment Program. This scholarship is a testament to their hard work, desire for early academic excellence, and potential for future success.
*This scholarship is currently being offered to the '24, '25 and '26 graduating high school classes.
What Does the Scholarship Cover? $18,400*
2024 - 2025 AY Tuition (12 - 18 credit hours)
The scholarship award will cover 100% of your tuition after the HOPE Scholarship and Georgia Tuition and Equalization Grant is applied to your account. The scholarship is renewable each year and it will extend throughout your undergraduate tenure at Brewton-Parker College’s Mount Vernon campus.
*The scholarship applies to only tuition and not towards other associated educational costs, e.g., Room and Board.
Scholarship Eligibility
1) Be a Dual Enrollment Student with BPC.
2) Successfully pass two semesters of dual enrollment coursework with BPC.
3) Graduate high school with the HOPE Scholarship
To continueeligibility...
1) Be a full-time student each semester during your consecutive enrollment at BPC on the Mt. Vernon campus.
2) Maintain HOPE eligibility*
Disclaimer(s):
Recipients must use the scholarship in the semester immediately following their high school graduation. If a student attends another institution after graduating high school and later transfers to BPC, they will not be eligible for the scholarship.
If a student becomes ineligible for the Dual Enrollment Excellence Scholarship due to losing HOPE*, they may regain eligibility if they subsequently become HOPE-eligible again, provided there has been no break in their enrollment at BPC.
*The HOPE Scholarship will be checked at the 30, 60, and 90 attempted credit hour checkpoints; and at the end of each Spring term when the scholarship is received for any term during the aid year.
Accepting the Scholarship
To formally accept the scholarship, you will need to complete the following steps during your Senior Year:
1) Sign the Scholarship Acceptance Form
